What overall gaming experience has yet to be matched for you?

In terms of scope, meaning and depth, for me it’s the Mass Effect series. Specifically the original trilogy everything from your save file carrying over so choices you made in one game had impacts in the overall story in the other ones, to the in depth story writing and narrative, wonderfully crafted sci fi world with loads of lore, beautiful score and fun active combat and exploration. Walking around my ship and choosing a planet to land on etc etc. I’ve played countless games since then, and nothing has quite replicated that overall epicness of that experience. They aren’t even my “favourite” games necessarily, I’ve only played through them the one time, and I recognise its flaws and where other games have done certain things better but in terms of the overall experience, it just hasn’t been matched yet for me. I have such fond memories playing them many summer nights using a projector on the wall with surround sound. When it finally ended I didn’t know what to do.

Api documentation job

I got my Master's degree in technical writing and did a three-month internship after that, but since then, I've been teaching ESL abroad. It's been three years since I did my internship, and recently, I've been taking Tom Johnson's API course. I'm hoping that if I write some API documentation and add it to my portfolio, I'll be competitive for a job. My problem is that even though I have written things like usability reports and instruction sets, I don't really have any experience with technical writing tools like Madcap Flare, Agile, Confluence, etc. If I learn API documentation well enough and add some examples to my portfolio, do you think I might be competitive for an entry-level job?

For those who dropped the game earlier, did the DLC bring y’all back to SZ? How do y’all feel about the gameplay after all of the updates now?

With the new DLC for this game now being out, I wanted to ask to those who dropped the game before decided to come back, how are y’all feeling about it now?

I’m especially curious about how the gameplay and mechanics are holding up for y'all now. Did all the updates make it feel fresh, or is it still kind of the same deal?

Suggestions for new S7 builds to play on controller?

Hey D4 fans. I can't play til Thursday but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on which of the newer builds would be good on controller? D4 is a kick back hack and slash and chill game for me. I know playing on mouse and keyboard would be far more optimized but that's just not how I like to play D4. Also several fully optimized builds (looking at you rogue) require so much prep and paying attention to timers, passive stacks, procing one thing to proc another before procing a 3rd... it's just too much sweat for what I want out of D4. Earthquake barb is SO sick looking, but I'm afraid leaping around with controller won't be remotely accurate compared to KBM. Bloodwave necro I don't think would work well either. Maybe one of the druid builds? I've always seen rogues as too sweaty and mechanical for controller chilling. Sorc is my favorite class but I've made a few already. Just made SB last season so want something different. For context these are builds I've already played over the seasons and don't want to repeat: WW barb, lightning ball sorc, arc lash sorc, quill spirit born The common thread is they are all VERY simple with really 1-3 main abilities and the rest being offensive/defensive buffs and don't require a ton of thought, mechanics, or paying attention to passive stacks/procs to still absolutely shred stuff.
